Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Team Leader to provide daily leadership to packing associates, line feeders and stackers, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient operation. You will identify problems and implement corrective actions to improve performance across the department.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, communicating priorities, and ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines (HACCP). The role requires a HS diploma, leadership ability, and English fluency, with Spanish as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years (extensive) produce knowledge or related industry.
• General understanding of processing procedures of a high volume warehouse/production facility.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, direction and support to packing associates, line feeders and stackers.
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient operation.
• Proactively identify and analyze problems and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Assign crew members to duties to maximize efficiency and communicate priorities.
• Ensure crew works safely and follows standard work methods and food safety guidelines (HACCP).
