Job summary

GXO is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality, safety and continuous improvement within its warehouse operations. You will guide supervisors, develop staff, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO and OSHA standards while driving cross-functional excellence.

The role requires 4 years of management experience, 4 years in quality roles, and a strong background in Lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis and data-driven decision making. Flexible scheduling and hands-on leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge.
• Experience in warehousing or 3PL.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and scanner equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors regarding personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
• Recommend programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed timely.
• Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and ensure OSHA and other standards/regulations compliance.
