Border States is a leading electrical distributor and employee-owned company based in Fargo, ND. The DC Warehouse Associate – Outbound will pick, label, pack, and ship outbound orders using RF handhelds and WMS, while supporting replenishment and putaway tasks.

You will operate stock pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure accuracy and on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift or stock picker operation preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, Internet, email, and SAP software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operates material handling equipment (stock pickers, reach trucks, forklifts) to complete tasks.
• Accurately picks items per pick lists or WMS instructions using RF handhelds.
• Labels and organizes picked items for downstream packing or shipping.
• Fills back-orders as material is received and inspects items for defects.
• Verifies contents against packing lists/WMS, packs securely, and confirms accuracy.
• Notifies supervisor of inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages.
• Communicates with warehouse teams regarding packaging supply needs or order discrepancies.
• Safely operates equipment, follows safety procedures, and maintains a clean workspace.
• Supports on-time shipping and cross-functional warehouse activities as needed.
• Stages orders, labels shipments, and coordinates with logistics for timing and accuracy.
