# Outbound Team Lead (Friday | Saturday | Sunday: Day Shift)## Albany, GA Starting at $22## Job Description## Job SummaryThe Outbound Team Lead maintains in-depth knowledge of our products and Outbound procedures and stays in regular contact with the shift manager and peers in each department to meet daily goals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.??**Leadership*** Assist leadership in overseeing daily operations in the department to ensure a high level of productivity and quality while achieving operating goals; promote team adherence to Company policies and procedures* Work closely with leadership to monitor and provide consistent feedback to employees on individual and team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis* In collaboration with leadership, conduct daily team meetings to update employees on work expectations, task assignments, best practices and operating expectations* Clearly communicate team goals, resolve problems as they arise, and answer any related questions* Assist with developing a cross-trained team that can flex into other departments or jobs as needed* Maintain a high level of communication with Outbound teams and management daily; partner with other team leads to flex hours where necessary* Ensure that employees are consistently informed of their performance and progress* Serve as a resource for all employees regarding job tasks, company policies and procedures and warehouse initiatives?* Report personnel issues to the department leadership to enable timely resolutions**Process*** Aid management in ensuring that our teams work towards satisfying customers through picking, prepping and completing outbound shipments efficiently, with a focus on accuracy and quality* Manage the department's workflow daily, working with leadership to adjust to labor availability as needed.* Ensure a high degree of accuracy and quality in all work completed by the IC team, using internal audits to identify mistakes and training opportunities* Work to identify trends in team performance, using outbound metrics to train individuals on the team and assess areas of weakness or strength* Provide scorecards to individuals weekly and monthly to advise them on their overall performance* Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals?* Abide by all company and warehouse policies* Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation?### Physical Requirements* Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.* Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.* Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.* Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.## Qualifications### Experience* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; shipping experience preferred but not required* High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience### EducationThis role does not require a degree.
