# Outbound Manager - Weekend Shift (Fri-Mon)## Dayton, NV $90,000 - $100,000## Job Description## Job SummaryThe Outbound Manager oversees the facility’s outbound operations, including order picking, consolidation, packing, and loading for both ground shipping and common carrier shipments. The main objective of the Outbound leadership team is to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining high safety, quality, and service standards. The Outbound Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize processes, and ensure effective staffing and workflow coordination. This role collaborates closely with other department leaders and shift management to maintain compliance with all protocols and SOPs, resolve operational challenges, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.## Responsibilities### Operational* Oversee the day-to-day operations within the outbound department, including order picking, consolidation, packing, loading, and coordination of ground shipping and common carrier shipments.* Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance standards.* Work closely with the leadership team to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for outbound operations and identify and resolve operational issues as needed.* Provide clear, consistent communication to all teams on company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.* Lead and participate in weekly and monthly meetings to review metrics, discuss areas of improvement, address employee relations issues, and share updates on initiatives and projects.* Analyze opportunities for improvement, including productivity growth, cost reduction, order accuracy, load efficiency, and overall process effectiveness.### People* Ensure the timely completion of all employee performance reviews and provide frequent, constructive feedback to support continued growth and engagement.* Engage regularly with employees to promote a positive, safe, and compliant work environment.* Promptly complete all administrative duties related to employee management to the expected standard.### Leadership* Collaborate with the facility’s leadership team to meet the needs of the distribution center and foster a strong team mentality.* Partner with Team Leads and Assistant Managers to create development plans for employees, maintaining engagement and building a strong leadership pipeline.* Demonstrate integrity and honesty, modeling the company’s core values for all employees.* Serve as a leader not only for the outbound department but for the entire distribution center, holding peers, managers, and employees accountable to expectations.### **Work Hours**4th Shift: Friday - Monday 7:00am to 5:30pm### Physical Requirements* Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.* Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.* Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.* Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.## Qualifications### Experience* 2-3 years of relevant warehouse experience is desired.* Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.### EducationThis role does not require a degree.
