Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL service provider in supply chain management and e-commerce. The Team Lead will manage day-to-day shipping operations in Louisville, handling paperwork and performance/tracking for staff while ensuring safety, organization, and cleanliness.

The role requires demonstrated shipping experience, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous, and overtime/flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment.
• Proven leadership experience
• Problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Safety knowledge
• Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment
• Perform accurately under stressful conditions.
• Performing variety of duties as required
• Flexibility is a must: Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse
• The ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift certified a plus
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
• Knowledge of SAP pertaining to warehouse activities

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.
