Arvato, a premier global 3PL, is seeking an Outbound Team Lead in the United States. You will oversee the shipping department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate orders, on-time shipments, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse associates during the outbound process.
• Assign work and monitor productivity to meet daily shipping goals.
• Oversee order picking, packing, staging, and loading outbound shipments.
• Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and shipped per customer and carrier requirements.
• Monitor labor allocation and adjust staffing based on workload and priorities.
• Coach, train, and develop team members with performance feedback.
• Enforce safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control, Inbound, Transportation, Quality, and Operations leadership to maintain workflow.

Job Description

The Outbound Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

YOUR TASKS

• Leading and supervising a team of warehouse associates during the outbound process.
• Assigning work and monitoring productivity to ensure daily shipping goals are met.
• Overseeing order picking, packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments.
• Ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and shipped according to customer and carrier requirements.
• Monitoring labor allocation and adjusting staffing based on workload and priorities.
• Coaching, training, and developing team members while providing performance feedback.
• Enforcing safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
