Arvato Bertelsmann is seeking a Team Lead to manage daily Shipping operations at our Kentucky facility. You will oversee the Shipping department, track performance, enforce safety, and ensure clean, efficient work areas.

Flexibility to cover overtime, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts is essential. The role requires proven shipping and leadership experience, strong problem solving and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment

• Proven leadership experience

• Problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills

• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment

• Perform accurately under stressful conditions.

• Flexibility is a must: Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse

• The ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• SAP experience a plus

• Forklift certified a plus

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment

• Knowledge of SAP pertaining to warehouse activities

• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time

• Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend

• Manufacturing Environment/ Warehouse Setting

• Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift

• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
