Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Team Lead to manage the day-to-day Shipping department operations at our Kentucky facility. You will oversee merchandise handling, paperwork, and driver/parcel workflow while monitoring performance, safety, and housekeeping standards.

The role requires proven shipping leadership, strong problem solving, and proficiency with MS Office. Forklift certification is a plus, with flexibility for overtime and various shifts to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in a fast paced distribution center environment.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Safety knowledge relevant to warehouse operations.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced packaging environment.
• Flexible to overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts and areas of the warehouse.
• Ability to follow instructions, processes and procedures.
• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of SAP pertaining to warehouse activities.

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.
