HP Inc. in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to oversee outbound operations on-site. The role blends hands-on shipping support with analytics to improve on-time delivery and reduce costs across 3PL partnerships and internal teams.

You will track real-time performance metrics, develop SOPs, and drive improvements in outbound flow, accuracy, and compliance while coaching warehouse staff and coordinating cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in outbound or shipping operations within a distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/WMS platforms (e.g., SAP).
• Proficiency with Excel plus a data-visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong communication and influence skills; able to coordinate with 3PL and remote teams.
• Understanding of domestic parcel, LTL, and truckload shipping requirements and basic export documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outbound operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, packing, and shipping.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize outbound flow and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Warehouse, IT, and Transportation teams to coordinate shipments.
• Track real-time metrics and initiate countermeasures when performance drifts.
• Serve as primary contact for order expedites, configuration changes, and shipment issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for outbound operations ensuring compliance.
• Perform outbound quality audits and drive corrective actions with 3PL floor leaders.
• Train warehouse staff on picking, packing, and shipping best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to layout, packaging, and supply chain transformation.
• Analyse order, carrier, and freight-cost data to uncover waste and bottlenecks; create dashboards for leadership.
