Qualifications

• Understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of equipment.
• Understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
• Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment: Crane & Forklifts.
• Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
• Stack and prepare all trailers that will be shipping to various locations across the country.
• Operate various hand tools for trailer prepping.
• Pack product to avoid damages and maintain load stability to ensure driver safety.
• Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation.
• Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• Report any incident (injury, illness, near miss), or safety hazard to immediate supervisor.
• Properly wear, care, clean, maintain, store, and inspect PPE as required.
• Only perform tasks that you are properly equipped and trained to perform.
• Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Take responsibility for your personal wellbeing and that of others
• Actively participate in EHS training and investigations.
