Job summary

Hayes Company, in Forney, TX, is seeking an Outbound Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in a 3PL setting. You will manage inbound/outbound processes, pick/put away, and ensure schedules meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years in warehousing, experience with WMS, and strong leadership. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; high school diploma or GED required. Weekend hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates during daily operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound/outbound, picking and put away.
• Study daily shipment schedule and adjust procedures to meet deadlines.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Work with Warehouse Supervisor and General Manager to meet goals.
• Assist in training team members and cross-training staff.
• Enforce safety standards and company policies.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist in cycle counts.
• Report discrepancies and damaged goods to the supervisor.
