Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an Outbound Investment Analyst to support the DoW's Office of Industrial and Investment Security (I2S) at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. The analyst will review notifications of outbound investments by U.S. persons and prepare actionable analyses and memos for senior DoW leaders.

Required: 5+ years in economic/security analysis, TS/SCI clearance, and ability to work onsite. Preferred: advanced degrees and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in economic security, financial analysis, or related fields.
• Experience analyzing corporate structures, ownership, or investment activity.
• Familiarity with ICTS, Outbound Investments, CFIUS, export controls, sanctions, or related US Government processes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; able to work fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Review outbound investment notifications and generate referrals for transactions.
• Analyze open-source and classified information to produce analyses, summaries, and memos for DoW leaders.
• Identify how foreign ownership, control or influence affects a company's ownership, leadership, or affiliations.
