Job summary

Rochester Electronics, LLC is seeking an Outbound Fulfillment Associate I to perform shipping, receiving, storing, and order fulfillment duties in our Massachusetts facility. You will handle ERP/WMS/TMS processes, perform inspections, inventory management, and safety checks while complying with SWIs and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year administration, materials planning, manufacturing or production experience.
  • General experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Excel and basic formulas.
  • Able to modify existing and create new spreadsheets.
  • Speak and understand English; follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Work well in a group or independently; multi-task effectively.
  • High attention to detail with excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Pick/Sort/Pack/Ship and Receive material for international and domestic shipments.
  • Perform Visual Inspection.
  • Perform lift truck safety inspections.
  • Follow standard work instructions and operating procedures (SWI and SOP).
  • Order Fulfillment.
  • Processing shipments through ERP, WMS and TMS.
  • Receiving and general inventory management.
  • Unload/reload freight carriers.
  • Performs additional inventory function.
  • Practice and participate in continuous process improvement activities.
  • Inventory reconciliation.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by supervision or team lead.
  • Safely operate powered industrial vehicles.

Job description

The Outbound Fulfillment Associate I performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received for distribution against purchase orders and/or invoices; maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
