Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize outbound shipping, pulling, packing and loading activities. You will design efficient processes, enforce safety protocols, and drive cost-saving improvements while mentoring warehouse staff.

You will oversee truck yard organization, resolve shipping issues, and ensure accurate order processing, maintaining a high standard of operational execution and team engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with safety requirements and DC safety rules.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain cooperative relationships and use good judgment.
• Basic computer skills and certification to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations and instruct staff on how to perform work, monitor progress and troubleshoot.
• Design and maintain organization of truck yard operations, ensuring efficient trailer management and safety.
• Provide leadership to warehouse associates and promote engagement to solve problems.
• Investigate and resolve shipping errors with the team to mitigate future issues.
• Schedule team hours to cover peak periods and protect assets and receipts.
• Lead efficient processing of outbound orders, cross/docks, stock orders and UPS/Will Call.
