Job summary

Al's Specialty Marine in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking a full-time outboard technician with four-stroke experience to join our long-standing family business. Candidates should have experience with four-stroke outboards (carbureted and fuel injected) and a solid background in direct-injected two-stroke engines such as Mercury Optimax and Evinrude Etec.

You will diagnose and repair boats, install trolling motors and other accessories, and operate a forklift for unloading freight and boats.

Qualifications

• Experience with four-stroke outboards (carbureted and fuel injected)
• Solid background in direct injected two-stroke outboards such as Mercury Optimax and Evinrude Etec
• Ability to work well with others and operate a forklift

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair boats, outboard motors, and trailers.
• Installation, testing, and repair of accessories such as trolling motors, depth finders, power poles, jack plates, etc.
• Use of forklift for unloading incoming freight and boats.
