Day & Zimmermann is seeking 2 Outage Timekeepers for a short-term assignment at TVA Cumberland in Cumberland City, TN. The role is onsite with 12-hour shifts, five-six days weekly, including training days on day shifts.

You will ensure accurate labor hour recording, payroll data integrity, and compliance with union contracts on large power plant projects. Ideal candidates have experience in timekeeping, payroll, or administrative support within heavy industry or construction, with proficiency in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Experience in timekeeping, payroll, or administrative support within power plant, heavy industrial, or construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and enter daily craft labor hours, verifying compliance with union contracts and coding requirements.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records in project management and payroll systems.
• Coordinate with supervisors to validate reported hours and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute daily/weekly labor reports for management, payroll, and client review.
• Track overtime, shift differentials, per diem, and other premium pay per agreements.
• Ensure timely submission of approved timesheets to meet payroll deadlines.
• Assist with onboarding of new employees by setting up timekeeping records.
