Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Specialty Project Manager I to oversee complex outage projects across assigned regions, from initiation to closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and cost control.

The role requires strong project management expertise, collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and a travel rate of approximately 25% to meet project needs and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Six (6) or more years of relevant industry experience; project management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of turbine-generator technology and maintenance practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end execution of outage projects including planning, coordination, execution, and closeout.
• Maintains project ownership and coordinates with SMW, HRT, MD&A, customers, and vendors.
• Serves as the primary customer interface and provides project status updates.
• Plans outage readiness activities, scheduling, mobilization, and resource coordination.
• Monitors performance against scope, schedule, and budget and escalates risks as needed.
• Manages contract requirements, scope, change control, and project controls.
