Job summary

NAES is seeking an Outage Project Manager at the Linden Cogeneration Plant in Linden, NJ. You will lead major outages, plan schedules and resources, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and contractors to minimize downtime while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reliability improvements, risk management, and directing outage execution with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced power plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Demonstrated experience leading planned and forced outages in utility-scale plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage outages for CC and cogeneration systems, safely and cost-effectively.
• Develop outage schedules, manpower plans, and critical path activities to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate outage activities across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, contractors, and OEMs.
• Manage outage budgets, forecasting, performance metrics, and schedule adherence.
• Lead outage planning meetings and risk assessments to resolve technical issues and milestones.
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate outage logistics including procurement, tooling, material staging, and access.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NERC, ASME, and environmental regulations.
• Support root cause analysis and integrate findings into future planning.
• Manage the MOC process and outage documentation.
