FieldCore, a GE Vernova business, seeks an Site EHS Specialist I to support the creation and execution of comprehensive EHS plans at operating sites, driving best-in-class safety standards and sustainability practices.

The role observes, coaches and supports teams during planning and on-site execution to prevent injuries, ensure compliance with company and client EHS policies, and maintain records per country regulations.

Formación

• Technical/University degree in EHS or engineering OR High School Diploma (GED) with qualifying work safety experience.
• Knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements across the work region including risk management concepts.
• Ability to quickly research state/provincial/local EHS requirements.
• Firm understanding of auditing.
• Good written communication for semi-technical reports, permits, OSHA inspections.
• Interpersonal skills to coach and influence field employees, leaders and customers under pressure.
• Ability and willingness to travel with minimal notice.
• Proficient English (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other internet-based reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Outage planning and readiness reviews, communicating EHS needs to project team and managing compliance activities.
• Consult with service and outage managers on hazards and controls affecting work scope.
• Facilitate site walkdowns for strong planning and safe layout.
• Deliver site induction/orientation training for craft and visitors with records of attendance.
