Job summary

Qualifications

• MINIMUM Class A CDL and NCCCO crane operator certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards for crane and rigging.
• Ability to read job instructions and communicate clearly.
• Pre-employment screening including drug/alcohol, DOT physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Temporary crane operator for outage.
• Operate crane under full control and supervision.
• Inspect crane and below-the-hook devices regularly for safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and carry repair tools as needed.
• Understand and execute job billing process.
• Travel with crane to and from job sites.
• Wear required PPE during work.
• Direct truck drivers and helpers during assembly and setup.
• Mentor other crane operators and helpers.
• Maintain logs and hours; follow safety policies.
