Job summary

Glendora Hospital is expanding its outpatient PHP program and seeks an AMFT/ASW Therapist to lead groups and contribute to case management. The role supports a growing PHP program with a focus on evidence-based group therapies and patient engagement.

Applicants must hold an active intern or licensed number with the BBS or Psychology Board, have strong English communication, and be able to document progress notes and treatment plans promptly.

Qualifications

• Active intern or licensed number registered with the BBS or Board of Psychology.
• Prefer 2 years of clinical experience with seriously mentally ill and/or developmentally disabled and/or substance abuse clients.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and medical record charting basics.
• Good group facilitation skills and experience.
• Must have a BLS for Healthcare provider card. De-escalation training within 30 days of hire.
• Effectively facilitates group treatment modalities within scope of practice, as assigned by the Program
• Effectively conducts initial assessment of new patients and develops initial treatment plan.
• Develops master treatment plans, as prescribed by program policies and procedures, using data from all assessments and input from treatment team.
• Accurately enters progress notes within 24 hours of service or the next business day; progress notes are accurate, refers to problems identified on treatment plan. Documents incidents or unusual occurrences at the time it happens.
• Assesses the needs of adult patients, ages 18+ and intervenes to facilitate movement to next stage.

Job Summary

Glendora Hospital is searching for an AMFT/ASW Therapist for our expanding PHP Program. The AMFT/ASW Therapist will run groups and provide some, but minimal Case Management services for the program. This is an opportunity for a Therapist to be part of a growing Outpatient PHP Program.

Pay Rate: $30.46 - $38.07 per hour

Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
