Estes Express Lines in Elkton, MD is seeking a professional CDL A driver to transport freight safely under FMCSA regulations. This role requires operating various equipment and adhering to safety standards on all routes.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, comply with hazardous materials handling when applicable, and maintain accurate records. The position involves flexible schedules, occasional over‑the‑road runs, and a commitment to customer service.

Competenze

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 21 years of age with 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL and FMCSA Drug Clearinghouse registration.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the terminal and pass FMCSA medical exam.

Mansioni

• Operate tractor/trailer in compliance with FMCSA and company safety rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues.
• Maintain required records and adhere to hazardous materials regulations.
• Safely load/unload freight and assist at dock as needed.
• Communicate with supervision and Fleet Services as required.
