Job summary

Riverwalk Post Acute in Riverside, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for a full-time, part-time or per diem role. Starting pay is $48 per hour, DOE. New grads welcome to apply.

The Staff Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients, communicate with families and physicians, and maintain documentation in medical records. Responsibilities include supervising COTA and aides and participating in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; masters/doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care data entry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral.
• Develop effective treatment plan and obtain physician approval.
• Treat patients per physician treatment plan.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care.
• Communicate progress with supervisor and health team.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes per policy.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver training.
• Order durable medical equipment as needed.
• Attend care conferences and in-services.
