Job summary

Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our team. The role includes evaluating and treating patients, coordinating with physicians and families, and maintaining documentation. New grads welcome; pay starts at $48/hour with DOE.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules in a clinical setting. The OT will supervise COTA and aides, participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and training for staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; master's/doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state; CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of Medicare/third-party payors; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans; treat patients per plan.
• Supervise COTA and aides in direct patient care.
• Record evaluations and daily progress notes per policy.
• Discharge planning and caregiver training for home programs.
