Job summary

Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking an OTR/L to join our clinical team in Riverside, CA. The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, develops treatment plans, documents progress, and collaborates with families and physicians.

Flexible options include full-time, part-time, and per diem with pay starting at $48 per hour DOE. Responsibilities include timely evaluations, supervising COTA and students, participating in care conferences, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• California OT license and CPR certification required.
• Experience with Casamba or Point Click Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral and develop an effective treatment plan.
• Treat patients per physician plan and document progress in medical records.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides and students under supervision.
• Communicate with families, physicians and health team members about patient progress.
