Kendal at Hanover seeks a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our contemporary Continuing Care Retirement Community in Hanover, NH. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based OT services across care settings.

Ideal candidates hold an active NH license, NBCOT certification, CPR, and at least two years’ experience with older adults, dementia care, and rehabilitation. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with an active NH OT license.
• NBCOT certification is required; CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR on hire.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with older adults, dementia care, and senior living settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating residents’ physical, cognitive, sensory, psychosocial, and environmental factors affecting occupational performance.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that promote independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Delivering evidence-based OT interventions across the continuum of care.
• Completing documentation consistent with regulatory, reimbursement, and organizational requirements.
• Designing and implementing wellness programs.
• Educating caregivers and team members on communication techniques and engagement strategies.
• Educating residents and families regarding functional independence and disease management.
