Job summary

San Bruno Skilled Nursing in San Bruno, CA is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team. We offer Part-Time, Full-Time, and PRN opportunities with a pay range of $58–$65 per hour, dependent on experience, and a supportive interdisciplinary environment.

The OTR evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans to improve independence, collaborates with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and families, and ensures high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current California OTR license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver rehabilitative care.
• Deliver rehabilitative care under physician orders.
• Maintain thorough documentation of progress and outcomes.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
