Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a qualified CDL Class A driver in York, PA to deliver snacks and beverages to local stores. You will operate tractor-trailers per safety standards, unload at destinations, and manage delivery paperwork with electronic logs.

The role requires 21+ years old, 100k accident-free miles (or 2,500 hours), weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-call schedules may vary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and handle palletized loads as needed.
• Deliver to large grocery stores, warehouses, and facilities.
• Obtain delivery signatures, complete logs, and review manifests.
• Use electronic logs and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Minimum Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Load and unload trailers, which may include manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and lifting product overhead
• Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers
• Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices and/or manifests
• Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night
