Job summary

PepsiCo seeks an experienced truck driver to operate tractor-trailers, delivering snacks to local grocery stores from Saco, ME. You will follow FMCSA regulations, load/unload goods, and complete paperwork with an electronic logging device. A valid CDL-A and a long, accident-free driving record are required.

The role features a 2 days off per week schedule, 50+ hour weeks, and shifts starting between 12 pm and 4 pm. Competitive pay of $100,000 per year with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
• Have 100,000+ verifiable accident-free miles or 2,500+ accident-free hours.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Able to lift 15–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Able to drive tractor-trailer up to 11 hours per day and work up to 14 hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products per FMCSA rules.
• Load and unload trailers, including manual and palletized loading.
• Deliver to large grocery stores and distribution centers.
• Obtain signatures, process logs, and review invoices/manifests.
• Use an electronic logging device and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Load and unload trailers, which may include manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and lifting product overhead
• Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers
• Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices and/or manifests
• Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night
