Job summary

Dexter/DexKo is hiring an OTR Driver to deliver trailer parts and products to our customers. The role offers steady work with well-maintained equipment and a predictable schedule.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class A CDL with DOT Medical Certification, have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual transmission preferred), and a strong safety record. We value independence and reliability while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Certification.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual transmission).
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years).
• Van or Flatbed experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailer parts and products to Dexter branch locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or equipment concerns.
• Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations.
• Drive safely and professionally in varying weather and road conditions.

What We’re Looking For

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Certification
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual experience required)
• Van or Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
• Safety-focused and dependable
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations
• Ability to handle long driving days when needed
