Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A with clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background checks.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to operate ELDs and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate a day cab tractor to transport freight safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections and complete documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Verify trailer, container, seal, and load information before movement.
• Communicate with dispatch, operations, customers, and terminal personnel.
• Maintain electronic logs and transportation records.
• Report defects, accidents, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance of assigned equipment.
• Follow yard, terminal, customer, and facility procedures.
