Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator for our La Porte, TX team. Route runs from La Porte, TX to southeast locations, averaging 2,500–3,000 miles per week.

Two weeks out with bi-weekly home time. Compensation includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. Average annual earnings are $200,000–$250,000.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains health and safety as the top priority and follows safe work practices.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weight limits and unit utilization.
• Loads/unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste, secures loads.
• Placards vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Keeps daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in La Porte, Tx. This route runs from La Porte, TX to southeast locations (Flex) position. and averages 2500-3000 miles per week.

Two weeks out. Can be domiciled in Houston, Baton Rouge, New Orleans areas.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
