Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Team Driver to join our family. You will drive a company-provided semi-tractor with a sleeper and trailer, delivering across the United States as part of a two-person team.

Load, transport, and unload materials while maintaining safety and compliance with procedures. Qualified candidates hold a CDL A with HazMat and Tank endorsements, be 21+, and able to obtain an ATF explosives license.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class A with HazMat and Tank endorsements.
• 21+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• 1+ years of driving experience or completion of a CDL training class.
• Must be able to acquire an ATF license to possess explosives and comply with laws.
• Ability to read and interpret safety instructions and operate controls safely.

Responsibilities

• Drives and/or operates truck for delivery across United States.
• Unload boxes into storage area at customer site.
• Counts inventory pre/post-trip and assists with loading/unloading.
• Performs pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and reports maintenance needs.
• Follows the direction of the Transportation Lead and maintains relationships.
• Maintains compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Completes and maintains legible paperwork per DOT and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
