Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Team Driver to operate a sleeper-equipped tractor-trailer and tanker, transporting materials across the United States. This role involves loading/unloading, inventory checks, and maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance with a two-person driver team.

The position requires a CDL Class A with Tank and HazMat endorsements, a current ATF license, and 21+ years of age, plus proven driving experience.

Qualifications

Must be 21+ years old per DOT.
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years driving experience or CDL training completed.
Must acquire ATF license to possess explosives.
Must comply with all State & Federal explosive laws.
CDL Class A with Tank and Hazardous Material endorsements and Air Brake.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance documents.

Responsibilities

Drives/operates truck for delivery across the United States.
Unloads tankers into storage bin at customer using onboard pump.
Loads/unloads/inventory counts pre/post-trip.
Completes pre/post-trip inspections and reports maintenance needs.
Follows directions from Transportation Dispatcher.
Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and agencies.
Ensures regulatory compliance and safe work environment.
Completes required paperwork per policies and DOT/state/federal rules.
Other duties as assigned.
