Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Team Driver to join a two-person driving team. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading materials across the United States, with an emphasis on safe operations and regulatory compliance.

The driver will handle pre/post-trip inspections, paperwork, and coordination with the dispatcher, while maintaining strong working relationships with customers and colleagues. A HazMat/Tanker endorsement and ATF licensing considerations apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• 1+ years of driving experience or completion of CDL training.
• Must be able to acquire ATF license to possess explosives.

Responsibilities

• Drives across the United States delivering materials as part of a two-person team.
• Unloads tankers into storage bins at customer sites using onboard pumps.
• Performs pre-/post-trip inspections and reports maintenance needs.
• Completes required paperwork per DOT and company policies.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance at locations and during transit.
• Develops positive relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and regulators.
• Other duties as assigned.
