Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Team Driver to transport and unload materials across the United States. The role operates in a two-person team with a sleeper-equipped tractor and tank service, emphasizing safety, compliance, and precise paperwork.

Qualified candidates must be 21+, have a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of driving experience or CDL training. Hazmat and tank endorsements are required, along with ATF license eligibility and compliance with explosive laws.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age as required by DOT.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of driving experience or have completed a CDL training class.
• Must be able to acquire an ATF license to possess explosives.
• Must meet requirements of all State & Federal explosive laws.
• Must possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with the following: any combination over 26,001 pounds.
• Hazardous Material and Tank endorsements; Air Brake.

Responsibilities

• Drives and/or operates truck for delivery across United States.
• Unloads tankers into storage bin at customer using onboard pump.
• Performs pre/post-trip inspections and reports maintenance requirements.
• Maintains accurate paperwork as required by company policies and DOT.
• Develops and maintains positive work relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and agencies.
• Complies with inventory procedures and safety regulations.
