Job summary

Optimum Staffing , Inc. seeks a full-time OTR solo driver based in La Porte, IN to operate a Sleeper Tractor with 53′ flatbed and dry van trailers. Expect early dispatch, nights away from home, and routes across multiple states.

The role offers weekly pay with mileage and stop/dock compensation, benefits, and weekends off. Must maintain a valid CDL A with 24 months of verifiable experience and pass DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Comfortable running OTR Solo and spending nights away from home.
• Comfortable operating a Sleeper Tractor with Flatbed and Dry Van equipment.
• Flexible with routes and destinations changing based on daily/weekly needs.
• Willing and able to perform Touch Freight when required.
• Able to pass DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks.
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Earn $1,800–$2,100/WK Depending on Route.
• Compensation includes Mileage, Stop & Dock Pay.
• Paid Weekly | Benefits Offered | Weekends Off.
• Full-time OTR Solo position based out of La Porte, IN.
• Typically Monday–Friday with approximately 5:00–6:00 AM dispatch.
• Operate a Sleeper Tractor with 53′ Flatbed and Dry Van trailers.
• Transport aerospace materials on open routes based on customer needs.
• Routes may vary between Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Hampton, VA, and Tennessee.
