Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Hammond, IN with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a strong safety culture. The role features a 55+ hour workweek, overnight per diem, and paid training as part of a long-term driving career.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Minimum 21 years old and able to pass Ryder drug test, background check and DOT/road exam.
• 6 months flatbed experience required, or 2+ years in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
