The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a premierlogistics and warehousing organization in Dallas, TX and we are looking to hirean experienced and dependable CDL OTR(Over-the-road) Driver who will beresponsible for the safe, compliant, and timely transportation & deliveryof freight across designated routes while fulfilling all the DOTresponsibilities.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Complete weekly or bi-weeklyshuttle runs with a co-driver in a comfortable double-sleeper cab
  
• Load and unload freight as part ofdaily operations (most shipments are pre-packed or pre-crated, with allrequired handling equipment provided)
  
• Safely operate a Class A or Class Bcommercial vehicle over long distances while ensuring safe and legal operations& compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations always
  
• Perform thorough pre-trip andpost-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-datedriver logs and records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
  
• Ensure timely and secure freightdeliveries by coordinating effectively with dispatch regarding routes,schedules, and delivery requirements
  
• Comply with OSHA and DOT safetyregulations, including hours of service requirements & vehicle weightrestrictions
  
• Promptly report safety incidents,vehicle malfunctions, accidents, delays, or other operational concerns
  
• Maintain clear and professionalcommunication with dispatch personnel, clients, and team members as needed
  
• Support the safe and efficienttransportation of shipments as part of a collaborative team

What We Are Looking For

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or Class Bdriver's license
  
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  
• Ability to successfully pass a DOTphysical examination
  
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiableOver-the-Road (OTR) driving experience preferred
  
• Strong understanding of FMCSAregulations and DOT safety protocols
  
• Experience using Electronic LoggingDevices (ELDs), preferably Samsara
  
• Ability to travel long distances,work flexible schedules, and stay overnight as required
  
• Basic mechanical aptitude with theability to perform minor truck troubleshooting
  
• Excellent time management, routeplanning, navigation, and communication skills
  
• Ability to successfully pass apre-employment background check and required Department of Transportationdrug screening
