Job summary

METRO PARK WAREHOUSES, LLC is seeking an Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL Driver to transport freight across regional and national routes. You will ensure timely deliveries, comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations, and provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical certificate, a safe driving record, and the ability to pass drug/alcohol tests.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers (preferred; entry-level drivers with accredited training may be considered).
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, when required.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial tractor-trailer safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
• Transport freight according to delivery schedules while complying with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain accurate logs, trip records, fuel receipts, and required documentation using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Plan routes to maximize efficiency while meeting customer delivery requirements.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding shipment status, delays, and route changes.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Keep the truck clean and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

Pay: $0.65 per mile
