• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or any issues encountered during transportation.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck interior while ensuring that cargo is secured properly for transport.
• Utilize various types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks as required by the load.

Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in route driving with a focus on freight delivery.
• Familiarity with operating different types of trucks including tractor-trailers and flatbeds.
• Experience in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling is essential.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not mandatory.
