Job Overview:
Komatsu Mining in Charleroi, PA (off the Bentleyville exit of Route 70) is looking for a Class A CDL candidate who can drive a truck with capacity up to 80,000 lbs. gross to transport mining equipment and parts to and from specified destinations (warehouses).
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a team position - both drivers are paid mileage when the truck is moving and downtime when it's not. Home every weekend (Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun, or Sun/Mon). No loading or unloading freight, just chain/strap and go. 2023 Peterbilt trucks.
Team Details:
We are open to hiring established teams; however, we follow our Union CBA guidelines which give first pick to our most senior drivers. As drivers build their careers at Komatsu, they will move higher on the seniority list, gaining more flexibility to request their preferred team partner. We operate a small crew of 11 drivers (5 teams with 1 fill-in/spare driver). Routes are re-bid once a year based on seniority, allowing new drivers to partner with any of the other drivers, including potentially their preferred teammate.
