Over-the-Road Team Driver - Home Weekends

Earn Up to 100K + 6K Sign-on

Komatsu is an indispensable partner to the construction, mining, forestry, forklift, and industrial machinery markets.

Job Overview

Komatsu Mining in Charleroi, PA (off the Bentleyville exit of Route 70) is seeking a Class A CDL driver capable of operating trucks up to 80,000 lbs. gross weight to transport mining equipment and parts to and from designated destinations (warehouses).

Earn up to $100K annually.

• Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, vacation, holiday, and personal days.
• $6,000 sign-on bonus included.
• This is a team position—both drivers are paid mileage when the truck is moving and downtime when stationary.
• Home every weekend (Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun, or Sun/Mon).
• No loading or unloading freight; just chain/strap and go.
• 2023 Peterbilt trucks.

Team Details

We accept established teams; however, we follow our Union CBA guidelines prioritizing our most senior drivers. As drivers gain seniority, they can request preferred team partners. Routes are re-bid annually based on seniority, allowing new drivers to partner with any of the other drivers, potentially with their preferred teammate.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure shipment is loaded correctly.
• Secure tarp as needed.
• Chain and bind down gear cases as needed.
• Drive truck in 8-10 hour rotations with a team member, alternating with 10 hours off-duty.
• Provide manifest to warehouse at delivery site.
• Market products and services to customers at delivery sites.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Pass ICC physical and drug test every 2 years
• Pass possible random drug tests
• Two years of Over the Road experience preferred
