Wayne Burden Trucking is seeking a full-time OTR Truck Driver based in Cullman, AL. You will transport freight across routes while following DOT and company safety rules.

You will conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, manage logs, and coordinate with dispatch to maintain on-time deliveries. The role requires a CDL Class A with a clean driving record, a willingness to meet physical demands, and strong safety, time-management, and route-planning skills.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe truck operation.
• 2+ years of regional or long-haul driving; familiarity with ELD systems is beneficial.
• Ability to meet physical demands; seated for long periods; occasional lifting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trucking/logistics experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Secure and unload freight as required and complete delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate logs and communicate load status or delays to dispatch.
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained; practice defensive driving.
• Represent Wayne Burden Trucking professionally at pickup and delivery locations.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize routes and schedules.
