Job summary

Southeast Building Supply Interests Inc. in Cullman, AL is seeking an experienced Driver to deliver products to construction sites safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.

You will operate local routes, perform vehicle inspections, and assist with loading and unloading as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL Class B, minimum five years of driving, the ability to pass drug and alcohol tests, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive local distances to deliver and pick-up goods to and from construction sites.
• Drive forklifts to unload building materials.
• Hand load, unload, stack and stage products.
• Record keeping of activities, cargo deliveries and hour logging.
• Complete the driver vehicle inspection report and inform management of mechanical issues.
• Keep the truck clean and presentable.
• Report road incidents to management and follow accident procedures.
• Follow DOT, state and local traffic laws.
• Plan routes using GPS system and arrive on time.
• Deliver superior customer service and inform management of customer concerns.
• Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
