ENT opening in Ohio
Located in Portsmouth, OH, this full-time and permanent position seeks a BE/BC ENT to join a hospital-employed, outpatient practice.
Details:
- Office Hours/Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday; 8:00 am - 12:00 pm on Friday.
- Call Schedule/CERP (if applicable): 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. Eligible for additional compensation through our CERP (Pay for Call) Program.
- Case Load: Expected to see 20-25 patients daily initially, with potential to see more.
- Office Procedures/Equipment: 6-8 procedures per day including Nasal Endoscopy, Laryngoscopy, Tube Insertion, with scopes, aspirators, audiologist, and vestibular testing. Equipment includes Medtronic Navigation System, Medtronic NIM, Microscope, Endoscopy tools.
Compensation Options:
- Option 1: Base salary of $491,790 (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates), with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Switch to a wRVU production contract upon exceeding targets.
- Option 2: Base salary of $605,450 (75th percentile MGMA), guaranteed for 1 year, then transitioning to a wRVU production contract. Salary adjusted accordingly for those not yet boarded, upon certification. The 2-year contract includes:
- Vacation: 29 PTO days, plus 5 additional days upon reaching 75% tile wRVUs.
- CME/Books & Journals: Up to 5 days PTO and $5,000 annually.
- Deferred Compensation: 457b plan, up to IRS limit of $22,500 pre-tax annually.
- Retirement Plan: 403b plan, up to IRS limit of $22,500 under age 50 and $26,000 over age 50, with SOMC matching dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
- Moving Expenses: $10,000 paid to moving company.
- Malpractice Insurance: Claims-made coverage, $2,000,000 per claim/$6,000,000 aggregate.
- Health Insurance: Small premium paid by physician, deducted from paycheck.
- Liquidated Damages: 70-mile non-compete for 2 years or liquidated damages of one year's salary.
Additional Benefits:
- ERP (Pay for Call) Program: Explained by VP of Finance.
- Bonus Incentives: Up to 10% of salary.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000, with $25,000 per year of service.
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, requiring up to 2 years of service.
- Sign-on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000, paid at signing and forgiven over 2-4 years.
