Job description

Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology

Choc Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group practicing at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). CHOC is dedicated to the health and well‑being of children through advanced clinical expertise, advocacy, outreach, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow clinical programs while expanding geographic reach.
  • Oversee faculty recruitment, development, and mentorship.
  • Optimize clinic and surgical access through collaboration with hospital leadership.
  • Partner with the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of California, Irvine to expand resident education and develop a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship.
  • Advance a clinical and translational research agenda with institutional support.
  • Ensure the Division aligns with institutional values in partnership with PSF leadership.
Candidate Qualifications And Experience
  • Ten years post‑fellowship experience in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
  • Minimum five years of progressive medical leadership experience within a division, medical staff, committees, or other related leadership roles.
  • Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck Surgery residency.
  • Completion of a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship.
  • Board certification in Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck Surgery and certification or eligibility in complex pediatric otolaryngology.
  • California medical license or eligibility.
Compensation Package
