Job summary

Pediatric Sub-Specialty Faculty (PSF) and Rady Children’s Hospital – OC (CHOC) seeks a Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology to lead a mature, high-volume, comprehensive pediatric ENT program in Orange County, CA, with a broad scope including airway, otology, cochlear implants, sleep, craniofacial, and reconstruction.

The role partners with UC Irvine to expand resident education and develop a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship, advancing clinical and translational research while supporting

Qualifications

• Ten years post-fellowship experience in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
• Minimum of five years progressive leadership responsibilities within a division, medical staff/committees, or other related leadership roles.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency.
• Completion of Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship.
• Must be board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and certified or eligible in complex pediatric otolaryngology.
• California medical license or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Leading and growing clinical programs and expanding geographic reach.
• Overseeing faculty recruitment, development, and mentorship
• Optimizing clinic and surgical access through collaboration with hospital leadership
• In partnership with the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of California, Irvine, expanding resident education and developing a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship.
• Advancing a clinical and translational research agenda with institutional support
• Working with PSF leadership in ensuring that the Division aligns with institutional values.
