Job description

ENT Physician Locums Job in California Coverage Starting Immediately Upon Credentialing

Coverage needed five days per week. This is a general/comprehensive otolaryngology position within a large multispecialty group. There are two full time ENT's currently in the group at other sites. The primary duty is to see patients in the ENT clinic with the option to perform bread-and-butter ENT surgeries for those patients, or to refer to the ENTs for surgery if desired. NO CALL obligation but if interested there are opportunities for paid hospital call including trauma call.

Description/Requirements for Assignment :
Active California medical license required
Board Certification required
Shifts: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
EMR: Cerner Powerchart
Patients per Day: 25-30
Support Staff: 1 full time MA and 1 surgery scheduler
Call is not required; there are opportunities for paid hospital call including trauma call if interested
100% outpatient associated with community hospital
Two other ENTs on site
Frozen sections

Required Procedures:
Flexible laryngoscopy, sinus endoscopy, cerumen removal, otomicroscopy, diagnostic biopsies throughout head and neck. Optional: Comprehensive otolaryngology surgical capabilities.
